'88 - '89 tzr 125

i bought a tzr 125 with the power valve and delta box frame from a breakers for £100 (not best condition)


i then had to re wire the whole wiring loom as some newbey kid there had messed around with it lol .


when i eventually got the bike running a was astonished at how fast the thing went :shock:

it kept up with my dads gpz500s easaly .


it done 120mph


is this normal for that bike does any 1 know . it would reach 60 in 7 seconds atleast


or have i bought a tuned up bike maybe with big bore kit ect.


would be nice to know lol

Indicated 120mph maybe but it wouldn't have really being going that fast unless maybe it has a big bore kit and a tuned pipe but even then a true 120mph on a TZR is unlikely.

Those old school two-stroke 125 bikes were quick and much more fun than then modern eco-friendly four stroke bikes.
