1st ride of the year, just a quick run over to BMW to sort out the recall on the fuel pump - USA only so far, they're still deciding whether to fix ours or let us explode, discovered 2 interesting bits tho', my bike missed a recall on the rear brake pipes while with the previous owner, but it was SORNed for 2 years, and the sound system is a £1000 extra! I thought it was standard on the SE model, happened to be drooling over a newer one in a lovely shade of blue and noticed the radio was missing. Also picked up an adaptor for the 12v supply to convert it to standard cigarette lighter socket so I can plug in my video camera when it arrives from China. Braced myself for the price but not too bad as not a BMW bit, supplied by 3rd party so £13, still a lot for 1 plug 1 socket and about 10 inches wire between.

I'm on a 1200rt se. The k1200 is too big to use for commuting, I leave the panniers in the garage and the top box carries all I need for work. Its a nice ride I imagine, I remember looking at one many years ago, liked the vanity case topbox with the mirror so she can sort out her helmet hair. :D
