Adam Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Just wondering wether these things are any good? They claim to clean the engine out and help it run better and make it more economical.. Also which one would I need to use as there's different types normal Redex and injector Redex but both claim to work with fuel injected engines. My bike is an 09 WR125R Quote
Tango Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Never used them mate......I think with modern fuel things are less likely to get gunked up.....and improving engine efficiency?.....dunno, but I would think any "improvements" would be fairly hard to spot.... Quote
Mr Fro Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 No You are just burning moneyBeat me to it!I bought a bottle of oil from Halfords yesterday which came with a free bottle of redex. Even though it was free I still left it in the shop. Quote

Adam Posted March 4, 2014 Author Posted March 4, 2014 I shan't bother with that then! I did notice you're meant to put 1 bottle to 50 litres of fuel my tank holds a massive 8.5 litres the bottle would last forever!! Quote
cyberwolf Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 didn't they do a test on redex and the car lost power after using it? Quote
