I-AM-THOR Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 I'm a little confused here, this on eBay say its for my bike http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Numax-Suzuki- ... 1340599768But it has a different number to the old one, can anyone clear up which to get. Mine says yt12a-bs Quote
Stu Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 I would save your money and buy something a bit decent if I was you Quote
Tango Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 That battery looks a bit short on capacity.......I'd go for a MotoBatt one.....more expensive, but got more oompphhh..... Quote

Tango Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 yt12?....I'll guess is a Yuasa battery.....and it's gonna be 12ah capacity....whereas that Numax battery is 9ah capacity (in fact the blurb says 8ah).....so this battery has 25% less capacity than the one already in your bike...... Quote
Stu Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 price is always a key factor in buying anything buy cheap buy twice I have heard a few bad things about these batteries like not even lasting a year!! they are cheap for a reason as Bob said get a mottobat you wont regret it Quote
I-AM-THOR Posted March 22, 2014 Author Posted March 22, 2014 Is this the one I need? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Motobatt-MBTX ... 4612d11d54 Quote
Tango Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 Hmmm....it's another 9ah battery by the looks......but Motobatt are good batteries and it mentions it as a replacement for your YT12......so it would be the one that I'd go for...... Quote

Stu Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 as it states on the motobatt website:Replaces YTX9BS, YT12ABS, YTZ12S, YTZ14Syou will be fine with the 9 of the motobatt variety these batteries are powerful little buggers!! your gsxr uses the same battery as the TLR and if its good enough to throw that thing over it will turn yours over without even breaking a sweat Quote
eastanglianbiker Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 same one on my harley as well and turns that over no problem at all Quote
