Can anyone recomend a way for my tankbag to not scratch my tank while attached? Was thinking a cloth or something but then will it hold on aswell and it's another think to carry with me.

Tips/suggestions welcome :D

Give the bottom of the bag a damn good brush down before sticking it on there

That non slip rubber matting stuff works well:

and as for "something else to carry around"... dare I suggest you have a handy bag with you? :D Failing that, stick it under the seat and don't forget and leave it there

Generally only carry the tankbag with me. :)

No space under the seat as theres no storage haha. Might just slip it in the top of the tankbag when not in use :)

That was kinda what I was getting at with "you have a bag with you" but I won't tell if you don't

Glorian, what OhJay, Tango said cos its crucial there's no shit on your tank or on the underside of your tankbag, before a ride if I was starting from home I'd squirt off any dirt / dust from the tank & always brush the tankbag.

Tankbags are ace, we're going to train our Russell to go out on the bike but I can't decide if she's best in a customised tankbag or topbox.
