Mr Fro Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Hello! My speedo has been a little on the optomistic side for a while which I put down to scrubbed out tyres - I thought it would go away once I put new rubber on but it hasn't.I've not done a full data log but so far it looks like 10% out at 50mph and 20% out at 70 (reading 55 and 85mph respectively).Since it's probably a non linear shift, do those in the know reckon a speedo healer will remedy this problem or do they only handle an x% change?Cheers,Fro Quote
Stu Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 the speedo healer does x% change I would check all connections I had a problem with mine a while ago and it was under reading and all sorts! it turned out it was water in a connection! Quote
Tango Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 Are you running standard sprockets?.....any change there could throw your speedo off..... Quote
Mr Fro Posted April 22, 2014 Author Posted April 22, 2014 Yep, completely standard. I'll have a prod about and see if there's a dodgy connection somewhere.Edited to say: Thanks chaps! Quote
