Hello!

My speedo has been a little on the optomistic side for a while which I put down to scrubbed out tyres - I thought it would go away once I put new rubber on but it hasn't.

I've not done a full data log but so far it looks like 10% out at 50mph and 20% out at 70 (reading 55 and 85mph respectively).

Since it's probably a non linear shift, do those in the know reckon a speedo healer will remedy this problem or do they only handle an x% change?

Cheers,

Fro

the speedo healer does x% change

I would check all connections I had a problem with mine a while ago and it was under reading and all sorts! it turned out it was water in a connection!

Are you running standard sprockets?.....any change there could throw your speedo off.....

Yep, completely standard. I'll have a prod about and see if there's a dodgy connection somewhere.

Edited to say: Thanks chaps!
