staningrimsby
Hi guys,Well I have my Mod 1 in 16 days time and have been practicing as much as I can when possible around 3 times a week, I have been doing quite well but tonight realised that when I was doing the U-turn as I start off then do the shoulder check I seem to drift over to the left, is it something I'm doing wrong that I can try and correct before my test ???I did think is the bike leaning that way slightly when I set off or is it just a natural movement ??Cheers in advance.Stan. fq-craigus
Try having a little more forward momentum. Have you been to a dsa site yet? You have about 7 or 8 meters to ride forward so you can steady yourself forstbefore you commit to turn
staningrimsby
No not been to a DSA test site at all, I'm doing an intensive course which consists of the following;1. 2 hours getting used to a 600cc bike2. 3 hours Mod 1 training3. Test the next morning.I have been practicing myself though but only on the slow manoeuvres not enough room to practice the faster one s will have to hope for the best when the training starts. fullscreenaging
Sounds like you are either looking down to the left or looking left. Look well ahead before pulling away
mailee66
Deso's right, keep you head up and look ahead. After your lifesaver turn your head and look where you want to go keeping your head up again. Never look at the kurb or you will end up hitting it.

Joeman
How long is your lifesaver taking? If you have time to drift, are you taking too long with it?Its just a quick glance - less than half a second..
acting_strange
There is a simple rule when biking..........YOU GO WHERE YOU LOOK...... and that applies at all times...
