Jack5r Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 I went and tired on this pair of kevlar jeans and really wanted to buy them, but the knee pads and double kevlar lining were too low for my short legs.I'm set on getting this pair though as all the others had a horrible fit.Is there a way I can sew a pocket into the Cordura to put the knee pads in? Or attach them some other way..?They just need to be in the right place upon initial impact. http://www.urbanrider.co.uk/revit-lomba ... -blue.html Quote
Adam Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 You might find that once you're sat on your bike that they're actually in the right place. I didn't look what bike you have but 9 times out of 10 your legs will be bent slightly which will bring the pads upwards. Quote
Jack5r Posted September 1, 2014 Author Posted September 1, 2014 Na they're still too low when sitting Quote
Mr Fro Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Can you unpick the appropriate seams and sew them back on a bit higher? You'll probably need a leather needle to get through all the layers. Quote
Tango Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 The only trouble I can see is that there's protective fabric at the bum & knees......so, if you move the knee armour you may not have the protective fabric in the right place......but, otherwise you should be ok..... Quote
runningman Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Look at Hood Kevlar Jeans. They will do whatever inside you want free of charge IIRC. Cheaper than the Revit ones too. Google them. Quote
