3D printing - any recommendations?

Anyone ever commissioned anything to be made by 3D printing?

i've got some ideas for some products i'd like to make so im looking for a good quality, affordable 3D printer to make them for me...

These are down the road from me and I saw their work on TV. They made a pair of plastic lamps for an old car you can't buy new anymore.


What are you building? As you are limited to plastic basically.


I love 3D printing, once they can solve the issue with some metal parts being porous on the industrial ones, we'll be printing hardcore kit at home.

I've got some ideas for little things that would be useful to me, so was thinking i might get a few made up and sell them on eBay.

Early stages yet thought ;)

As with anything sex sells...


Get ladies to invent various designs of the dongs they think their celebrity heart throbs have, then all you have to do is print it and make sure it's hollow and slightly flexible so you can fit some kind of vibration device...


Call me a dirty bast*rd, but you'd be a millionaire AND responsible for untold happiness across the female world :lol:
