Psychybikey Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 I expect this has been asked before. Once you've done your hazard perception & theory tests, is there a time limit within which you have to do your full motorcycle test? I know young drivers have to do their practical test within a certain time after passing the theory (can't remember exactly as it is four years since my last child did it). If there is no time limit I could get them out of the way. But if there is, I'm not going to because I don't know when I'll do my Mods 1 & 2. Quote
Wintermute Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 Yes, it's two years. Worth remembering that it is 2 years for your CBT as well. I did mine almost a year ago now, so that is a much more pressing issue than the theory for me. Quote
Glorian Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 As above.Your CBT Theory have a 2 year life from date passed. Mod 1 has a time limit to i think not sure how long it is though. Quote
Marky Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 There won't be a limit on Module 1 as Module 2 still needs to be passed within the 2 year limit of the CBT and Theory Test. Quote
Psychybikey Posted November 28, 2014 Author Posted November 28, 2014 Thanks. Realistically I can't see me doing the Mods before spring. That still gives me plenty of time. Quote
fullscreenaging Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 If you don't want to do the modules then you can re-do your CBT as many times as you like. I know your aim is for full licence but just letting you know the is no pressure Quote
Psychybikey Posted November 29, 2014 Author Posted November 29, 2014 If you don't want to do the modules then you can re-do your CBT as many times as you like. I know your aim is for full licence but just letting you know the is no pressure I know, but what's the point of that? It would be nearly as sad as riding a scooter wearing a skirt, like an old lady. fq-craigus Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Do your theory get it out the way and then slowly attack your das Quote
