Guys gals my mother has come up with th3 mad idea of getting a rt400 amd wants to get a bike licence

Bit her licence had a A category

Could anyone confirm that she has a full bike licence

she can ride a moped as she has full moped licence this is due to her passing before feb 2001


and she can ride trikes on her car licence hence the TRI and code 79

No.....that entitlement is for a Trike and provisional for solo motorcycles I think........so your mum will need to do her DAS if she wants the 400...... :wink:

If your mum is anything like my mum, I wouldn't let her anywhere near a motorbike!


My mum is one of those who's driving is absolutely jaw-droppingly bad, yet she thinks she's always in the right and won't be told otherwise, even by her own family!

my father in law is that very same. He also lectures you if you drive with anything less than 2 hands on the steering wheel.
