Oil cooler lines..

So.. The bike fell over in a bush. Initially I thought I'd been lucky cos it was a bush!! However I have now noticed a leak from somewhere around the oil cooler. I know this because the line looks like it's been dipped in crude. If it turns out to be the cooler then GREAT cos that's only 70 quid. However, these lines cost more than the actual rad!! Any suggestions of a place to get cheaper lines for the cooler if it comes to that? Gsf 600 98.

Yeah I've read that also.. A lot in fact. But I only noticed after it fell sideways in a bush. There was nothing for the rad to hit. So I'm forecasting worst case just incase.

I have never seen lines split

you may get the odd leak from the crush washers so you could try replacing these first

but be prepared as when nipping it up it could reveal a crack in the cooler like my brothers did

so if you use the bike daily look for other transport as a back up just in case

I've been using the alternative transport since I spotted it... my feet are getting unwanted mileage. Washers/o rings? Are on order. Read somewhere to strip it off clean it up dust it with talc and put it back on to find the culprit. You think?
