Off the Radar in Southern Spain!

I'd seen some unclassified roads and farm trails showing up on Google maps, but the streetview stopped with the two ends about 10 miles apart.

So what was it like between those two points?

Headed south to the Almeria border......then turned west onto the unclassified section......

Every few miles there were derelict farms and ruins of cortijos!

Well worth getting an off road bike for......pretty spectacular.....

The thing is I've lived here for nearly 10 years now (never set foot back in Britain).......so the WOW factor is long gone for me! It's just my normal surroundings.

Like the weekend before I was going through the forest trails.....

These stretch right across the area that I live (within 10 minutes of the house)......winding up through the mountains! I could ride for hours never venturing on a public road!

And you'll never see a soul up there......completely deserted!
