oldie59 Posted June 8, 2015 Share Posted June 8, 2015 We are off on holiday in a few days and the washing machine decides to breakdown, currently waiting for the repair man to either fix or condem it. If it is condemned can you not just commandeer a family member or close friends/neighbours washing machine and sort a replacement one out for when you get get back? After three days no one was interested so he put a big notice FOR SALE £10 and it was gone in 30 minutes. The drawers were gone but he didn't get the tenner! lolSome people won't take an item for free but are happy to nick an item for sale. We called in at our parents on the way home and they said "Guess what? We were driving past your house earlier and someone had dumped a washing machine outside so we put it in the car and brought it home". Fooking pikies!
