Dynamo_Delboy
I have a 1989 ZX10 and when im braking in wet conditions the front brake seems to be very dodgy at slowing me down (not the greatest when coming off the motorway onto the slip road) Pull the brake and the bike feels like its not gonna stop and takes a fair bit of distance until it does. However, in the dry they are bang on. Any ideas as to what could be causing this? The pads and discs have loads of life left in themThanks

Tango
Sounds like the pads are not up to scratch.......or the surface on them has glazed a bit.........I'd try some different pads in there.......
Dynamo_Delboy
Not sure what the pads are as they were on it when i bought the bike.I might need to buy a new set then. What causes them to glaze up?
Tango
Sometimes it's down to the material in the pads when they get really hot.......kinda go glassy.......but, if you don't know what pads are in there, swap them out for some decent ones......
