Ventz Cooling System

These little beauties just arrived today. They are called Ventz, I came across them on Twitter and thought damn why didn't I come up with this idea! I'm spending the next two weeks in the south of France and these will be perfect when I get out on the bike. They clip on to the sleeve of the jacket and give an airflow up the sleeve whilst riding.

Has anyone used something like this before?

I have a Joe Rocket leather jacket. I can't remember what model as its 9 years old now, but I had detachable side panels. The whole side of the torso and inner arms just zips off for summer/warm weather use. Underneath the panels it is mesh fabric. It's brilliant in the summer I get a fantastic breeze when on the the move.

That sounds great, I found that these can be quite expensive though and this seemed a cheap alternative! I bought some the other day and they work great, just yet to try them in hot weather as we never get this here in the UK but off on my holidays soon so will be taking them!

Saw something the other day about the Police suggesting that they should be banned after a few bike accidents where the riders leathers have acted like a parachute and the riders have come off their bikes.......

Just tie a long piece of string to the bike, get a throttle lock and let go. whats the worst that could happen.
