Unashamedly I am. My brother has a PS4, and we do swap from time to time. I was a major PS2 fanboy back in the day, and I recently got another PS2 console just to play some classics.

I have Steam as well but I use it so rarely I may as well not have it haha. And I have Origin for Sims 2 basically, as it was the only one in the series I liked.

Soll, if I add you do you fancy some Battlefront at some point? Not played it with others yet. Plus it would be good to talk to the chap I've been suggesting bikes to over the last year

Tried the Battlefront in the quick beta that came out but not since it's come out. Same reasons really, just not being near my beloved PC..

Thinking about getting a PS4 after Christmas so I can play Fallout 4 and FF7 Remake but to be honest I do very little gaming these days, maybe an hour or two of Diablo 3 each week because my other half has an addiction that needs feeding and it's more fun doing two player than sitting there watching!

TF2 is a shell of its former self, played it pretty much since day one and the community has really gone south these days. Mann vs Machine brought some of the old crowd back for a while but it didn't last. Minecraft too, been playing it since the alpha and used to love it but it's so hard to find a decent server now and I've played single player to death.

Did play Space Engineers a bit with an old friend back in January, that was a good laugh. I see it's had some huge updates so I might revisit it, if my computer can still run it properly!

Main thing is that I get overwhelmed by a sense of "AAAARGH I'M WASTING MY LIFE" if I sit down playing games for too long, must be getting jaded

If you need a minecraft server, I run one for me and my friends It would be good to have another person about for the variety.. We kind of all have our usual 'go-to' builds, which is a rut we should get out of.

Yeah space engineers have just put planets in, though my laptop through a fit the other day when I went to give it a go but I hear they're great. Especially all the gravity physics.. Many landing crafts have ended up in a deep crater!

Really good WW2 battle style game.. Almost based on Airsoft style matches.

LOL, guess ERP it will be at some point then, we can talk about how many extra resources the big ones need and how much of a problem they cause when people start putting their own spin on them and then the people that wrote them refuse to suppor them since they have been changed so much from the original, and how businesses have to change their processes to suit the software rather than the other way round. but yeah well up for a chat on the topic I take it your in IT as well then tsurgi-irjin?

As for games, I love proper strategy games cant seem to find any decent ones though these days, used to MMORPG alot but life started getting in the way, i used to play a lot of sports as well, as i say im pretty much FM these days, oh and i used to love the rainbow series and forza was quite good at both on the XBOX. im on steam, if anyone can find a good strategy game then let me know, also own a copy of Axis and Allies board game and I wont gointo the roleplaying i used to do no not that sort all you perv's

I had c64 when I was a kid - I guess I was a posh kid (or more likely my dad didn't know what he was buying so he bought the same as my uncle so we could trade games).

I also did the whole LAN party thing. Fond memories of playing doom at my friends house in a letter box view because he had a pentium 133 and I only had a 386! We also used to play red alert using a joystick cable that had been badly soldered as a serial cable. We'd play until the sun came up most nights during summer holidays.

They have to, they don't have a captive market any more! Used to be a whole stack of reasons that you had little choice but to use a Mac, now there is less and less proprietary stuff giving them an advantage and you can spec a PC that's much better at running Adobe stuff for a fraction of the cost. When our last head of marketing started she asked if I needed a Mac to work on instead, I couldn't say "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO" quickly enough

Convinced her to sink some of the money on a nice new Eizo instead

Axis and allies is awesome fun still have a copy in the loft.

As for strategy games, Age of empires 2 has a HD remake and expansion on steam for about £5 and you have the total war series, Notably Rome 2, Shogun 2.

Also check out rainbow six siege open beta starts tomorrow on ps and i think xbox

Yes they do, although their fan base seems to be growing and getting more obsesive, this on the part of applie getting people to believe your not buying a PC/Phone but a way of life is genius

It was AD&D for me mainly, although did play a few others as well, loved it also did live as well for a short time.

Axis and Allies is great, have you seen you can now get a super sized to games to put together for it, the pacific and europe two seperate maps both bigger than the orginal one and they fit together as well. looks awesome only problem is finding anyone interested in playing and that has the time these days.

as i say unfortunatley not much time for gaming these days, and yes those games are ok, however the one that really sticks in my mind as a great game from when i was a kid was Gettysburg it was awesome, but they dont do strategy games like that anymore. ah well.

RPG's love em played pretty much all of them...

Everquest 1 and 2, Earth and Beyond, Anarchy online, DUngeons and Dragons, neverwind, star trek online, lord of the rings, rift, age of conan, dark age of Camelot and so many more blah blha blha..

still play EVE ONLINE when i have time, Eve online has made real life history too.

I am an Automotive Engineer technically, but while working with Triumph I found I had a bit of a passion for databases, ERPs and KBE.

Basically putting things in their right bloody boxes so that engineers aren't doing the same useless tasks, day after day, which only duplicates documentation and creates more problems all round!

Now that I'm out of Uni I'm getting really into SQL, C++ etc.. Quality Engineering too but I guess that all gets rolled into the same bundle in the end.

My cupboard with my current flatmate is FULL of games like axis and allies (Have you played their Japanese feudal one? So good!). Variants of Risk, Munchkin, WoW Monopoly and yes, me and friends meet on Skype to DnD once a week if we can
