arrantylerlangton Posted January 16, 2016 Share Posted January 16, 2016 Hi Guys, So recently I purchased a Peugeot Speedfight 2 from a friend of mine and it had to go under severe maintenance for it to work. So one day after replacing the carb, battery, CDI, air filter, almost anything you cant think of. It started. Now the next day I went to go test the bike and for some unknown reason it won't start. I Have NO electric start so the immobiliser is not the issue. The kickstart is the only way I can start it as of now.The kickstart works as there is a spark. I can see it visually but the bike just won't start!Again, I have a Peugeot Speedfight 2, kickstart only, no electric start installed, spark is present, but bike won't startThanks Guys, RegardsArran Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If it s been standing along time there might be water in the fuel.Drain some fuel off into clean glass jar or bottle and have a look at it. eastanglianbiker Posted January 29, 2016 Share Posted January 29, 2016 spark plugs are funny things they dont like being knocked about or dropped it can crack the ceramic part and they are then no use at all and even worse they often spark ok when out of the engine testing them but its once they are under pressure they dont work glad you got it sorted Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
