Stu Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 Nope! I have always gone for the dark visor route they are so much better than dark inserts also check out ebay for a pinlock I need one for mine and you can get them for about £10 posted Quote

Guest Posted March 30, 2016 Posted March 30, 2016 Best invention ever. Well.. You say that.. But mine does too and yet I still bought a gold mirrored one [emoji39] You mean yours dosn't fog up 3 seconds after you have put it down? Mine is a nightmare :-/Had the same problem.. Never used it for any lengthy period of time so wouldn't know if it clears up.. Bought a new visor instead.. Just a bit gutted I can't install a pinlock onto my new gold visor. Quote

Guest Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 Can gold visors be used at night?Legally? NoTechnically? YesSensibly? NoI got caught out at 8pm one night.. Got pretty hairy and ended up rising most of the way home at 40mph with my visor up praying I wasn't gonna get a bug in my eye and drop my bike. Quote
Tom_E Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 The uv reactive pinlocks are rubbish the visor itself filters out so much uv that even when it's stupidly bright the pinlock will only have a very mild tint which is of no use. I wouldn't be without the standard ones though. Quote
