4 way bluetooth headset

Recommended Posts

a few of us go out on the bikes these days and two of us currently have a blue tooth headset, but it only allows 2 to talk at any time.

So we are wanting to get a headset which will allow 4 of us to all talk at the same time if needed.

Anyone got any recommendations, preferably around the £80 each range.

I've been searching for something similar but that can connect a dedicated sat nav, mobile phone and another rider. I think that must be stretching the bluetooth limits as I can't seem to find anything.

You sound like my wife mate....

Me: Can't find it! It's not in there!

Wife: 'sigh' What's this then? A f**king donkey!?!

I'll have a google for the q3. Cheers!

Having a look around, this might be of some use to the OP. Has multipoint technology so can connect to two devices at once. And it's £80.

press a button to talk and most have VOX where it will connect if you say something although its not instant connection

VOX can be turned off on most

Sounds really inconvenient - do you find it ok?

press a button on the side for constant connection or wait till you want to speak and make a noise wait for it to connect and talk away once the system is quiet for 30 seconds it cuts the connection

we have ours constantly connected except at higher speeds when the wind can become an issue

Hi Guy's

We have been using these sets for a couple of years now only problem we have had is that the lining of our particular helmets gave no room for the speaker so l modified our sets to use sound cancelling ear phone the units are stereo very easy to pair up and very very clear for the money you can't go wrong

Ahh you can have it constantly connected! That's what I wanted to hear!

So frustrating that most intercoms limit the number of people who can talk at once.

What we need is the good old fashioned CB radios on bikes!

Then you could chat to anyone and as many people as you like.

These look interesting for the price:

CB is only simplex though so only one person can actually talk at a time!

although everyone can listen!

on most headsets you can usually only talk to one person at a time the newer ones offer full duplex between all headsets and everyone can hear

I have a system similar to this

the problem with it is the Push To Talk button!

its hard to position it and not easy to press at times especially when trying to indicate etc
