Classickid21 Posted May 12, 2016 Author Posted May 12, 2016 i am guessing because this isn't a big bike no one is interested. . . been sitting since 1998 ... Quote
eastanglianbiker Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 once they blu then the chrome is discoloured you might be able to polish it to reduce the bluing effect but you will not cure it Quote

Classickid21 Posted May 20, 2016 Author Posted May 20, 2016 Must admit. It does bring back a lot of memories. AR 125 was my first bike as a 17 year old. Sure it isn't your old one It was brought from kawasaki dealer in 1997 its a ex show room bike 1984 b1 it was last road worthy in 1998 then i stumbled a cross it in 2011 in a corner of a breakers yard and paid £250 then 280£ on a spares engine.I will revile the reg plate later on I am 2nd owner on paper work, i am sure it has changed hands many times off paper work Quote
Classickid21 Posted May 20, 2016 Author Posted May 20, 2016 Finally had an hour spare after work yesterday, removed the engine and fitted the donor engine as it looks like there is a good piston in it, good bright spark. Here is a up date picture main goal is to get the mounts tighten'd and carb of to clean full service then ill try fire it up. I have put the stand exhaust on it for now http://i1156.photobucket.com/albums/p562/classickid21/kawasaki%20ar125%2084%20b1%20build/7A17F1F0-EBB0-4F26-B939-E6795723167D_zpshhcv04qh.jpgSorry for the poor angled photos http://i1156.photobucket.com/albums/p562/classickid21/kawasaki%20ar125%2084%20b1%20build/DA71AFAC-3A84-4ABF-9BDB-C81E3C397CF3_zpstaefxzny.jpgI still have a long list of odds and ends to buy.
