A little help

Hi guys,

My partner and I are travelling to the states in November to see her Dad as he is currently undergoing treatment for Multiple Myeloma.

Sadly because of the state of the US health system and their employment laws, he will lose his job at the end of this month along with life insurance and medical insurance. He already has $60,000 of bills and is about to start treatment that will destroy his immune system so he will need 24 hour care for a month or so. This he cannot afford if no medical insurance.

My partner lost her Grandma when my daughter was a month old, she never got to see her great granddaughter. I don't want the same to happen with her Dad hence the flights. Due to his level of morale at the impending debt we are concerned that he is close to giving up.

My partner has a page set up to try raise a fraction of the costs he is about to be hit with. If you can spare even a quid it would mean a lot to me.

He also has a Yamaha cruiser (sorry cannot remember exact model) that needs a carb clean and a load of other things done to it. So one aim of mine is to get his bike running when I am out there. I'm determined he gets at least 1 more ride out of it.

Thank you to anyone who helps with this.

Matt
