Bluetooth Headset - are there any without the massive mike ?

Recommended Posts

Ok so I want a bluetooth headset /intercom but don't want to spend a bomb. There are tons out there but I sometimes use an open face helmet and those massive boom microphones with the big spongy things on the end (a) get on my nerves and (b) make me look silly. I've looked around but can't find either (i) a bluetooth headset with an invisible mike or a slimline one or (b) a slimline / invisible one (with ear speakers for inside my helmet) that will plug into a cheap headset. Any help appreciated !!

Hello! It's quite loud in a helmet especially at speed. Not sure if anything other than the boomstyle mic would result in audible sound for the other person.

I have a cheap 30ish quid one that works ok but it has the boom mic. BT Interphone 1200.

The only problem with this Small Mike is that, based on most recent prices - it costs £510,000 to buy, plus £55k per week running costs and is no longer working ......

I can't help too much I'm sorry, but here is a small Mike.
