Stu Posted November 15, 2016 Posted November 15, 2016 sounds like you're maybe in the wrong gear! PS welcome to the forum pop over to newbies and say hello Quote
Tango Posted November 15, 2016 Posted November 15, 2016 Welcome to TMBF mate. ...... Could be spark plugs or coils/HT leads......or as Stu says, just wrong gear / too low revs...... Quote
bandit650boy Posted November 15, 2016 Author Posted November 15, 2016 no its happening when through gears 1 2 and 3 when going to accelerate again Quote
bandit650boy Posted November 15, 2016 Author Posted November 15, 2016 Thanks for the welcome guys Quote
Mississippi Bullfrog Posted November 15, 2016 Posted November 15, 2016 Sounds like poor sparks not igniting the richer fuel mix on acceleration. As said, leads, plugs, could be damp in the connectors? Quote
Glorian Posted November 16, 2016 Posted November 16, 2016 Had a similar sounding thing. Mine was water getting in (when it rained or I washed the bike) to the spark plugs due to the seals on top being in simple terms... shit. Replaced them and replaced the spark plugs with viridium ones (as god knows when they were last changed) no more issues Quote
