Guest Posted July 2, 2017 Posted July 2, 2017 Really need some help-I've got a Suzuki GN125 and today I noticed liquid on my gas tank after a short ride, realised it was coming from the brake reservoir and when I tough the sight lens/glass it smashed. I managed to bing it up so I could at least get home but now I don't know what to do. I'm really short of cash, is there anything temporary I can do. I seen online this guy put a bolt and washers through where the old sight glass was and it looked like a decent fixAny help would be great Quote

TimR Posted July 3, 2017 Posted July 3, 2017 Here you go, permanent fixLook at this on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/332174485128Possibly won't work with his master cylinder setup if its an intergral reservoir/master cylinder Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/161921362537Dont get the cheap ones from china/ hk etc you will be waiting weeksUsing a bolt to seal the hole will require sealant/ rubber washers and then you have to make sure its sealed . Brake fluid will creep through a lot of items and its one fluid that you dont want on paintwork , brake disks , control switches/ internal contacts , control grips , clothing ( imaging its on your grips ,you use your glove to wipe your visor at night to remove that layer of fine misty rain ... you will not see bugger all .You can buy new sightglasses but not sure what price ..Ps how the hell did you break that !
