Bury at edmunds - Stowmarket - Ipswich

Hi everyone, I own a ktm 690smcr. Recently moved to suffolk and I was curious as to where people ride to, with not knowing the area I'm struggling to find good places just on the whim of riding round and round . Bury st edmunds/ stowmarket/ Ipswich area. Places to go, set days of the week to go etc...

Alright mate.

A134 & A143 and most things coming off them are pretty good.

Moremoto in Stowmarket(ish) is a good place to take your bike for MOT and stuff. He's shit hot at tuning too - has a dyno etc.

A1120 Stowmarket to Yoxford

B1117 Eye to Halesworth

B1123 Halesworth to Harleston

A1071 Sudbury to Ipswich

A134 -> B 1068 Sudbury to East Bergholt

and a bit further to the south west:

Finchingfield to Subdbury via Wethersfield and Castle Hedingham (from the turning on the A131 to Castle Hedingham is a personal favourite)

B1057 Finchingfield to Gt Dunmow

B184 Gt Dunmow to Thaxsted

Ooo that's useful to know; I can use it to tempt missus back on as pillion some time. Since passing her CBT she prefers riding her own machine which means going everywhere at 50 max.
