savo318 Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 Does anyone know the size of pipe I need to replace the fuel line on a Brazil cg 125, the model with the front disc brake. I've looked everywhere and can't get an answer. The problem is that I seem to be using more fuel than when I first got the bike (at the same time as passing my CBT). And after checking everything else I'm wandering if I've got a small split and am losing some fuel that. I was spending £7 every two weeks, now its more like £12 every two weeks. The money isn't a issue its the keeping the bike in proper order that's bugging me.Thanks Quote
fastbob Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 Have you considered measuring it ? Alternatively , why not just cut a centimeter off and take it to your local bike shop as a comparison. Try to get old fashioned black neoprene tubing rather than this new translucent green stuff that quickly goes hard when exposed to fuel . By the way, if you're losing a lot of fuel surely you would smell it . If the bike has a carburetor maybe it's overflowing due to a stuck float valve or an incorrect float height. Perhaps it's running rich due to a dirty air filter. Quote
Grumpy Old Git Posted October 21, 2017 Posted October 21, 2017 It could simply be that you are revving higher in each gear (now that you are more confident on the bike)? Quote
