SlowBusa Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 The Below is for APE CHN10125.10 head nuts and CS1300STN Cylinder head studs that I have on my bikeDoes anyone know where I can buy Nuts by Thread AND Hex size?OR a stud installer of the below dimensionsThe reason is I need a nut(or 2 nuts) with the following dimensions.......M10 1.25mm pitch and 14mm Hex size (spanner size 14)The solution is a Stud Installer, but it has to have locking allen key on Topbut every stud installer Ive found is 17-19 spanner size ...and room is a factor for cylinder head studs/nuts on my bikeAPE do One for my setup but cant find one in the UK My solution was to Slot the Studs and install with a screwdriver socket attachment (it works but not desirable), but would like to find a nut/installer for the right job Quote
iangaryprice Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 Have you tried 2 nuts on the stud, tightened agaist each other.Install the stud. Use 2 spanners to remove the nuts. Quote
SlowBusa Posted January 21, 2018 Author Posted January 21, 2018 The problem is the nuts are the same dimensions as the pic and it dosnt leave any room for 2 and the dimensions are tight and sunken into the headWhen the Nut is on and tightened down there is probably only 1 mm thread proud of the nut surface Quote
Bianco2564 Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 Can't you make your own out of 14mm hex bar? Quote

Mr Fro Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 Hold up, let me get this straight as I'm quite tired and slightly pissed. You want a couple of nuts 14mm across flats with an M10 thread or something that looks a bit like the pic with M10 & 14mm AF with a grub screw in the top.I might be able to knock something up if you're stuck.
