Hi all. Can anyone help? I am trying to change the bars on my 1989 Suzuki gsx750f. I have got the bar but what size risers can I fit and do they come dedicated to particular bikes, or can I get any ones? Thanks

Only limits on risers is diameter and the length of your cables.. Bars are normally 7/8", 22mm diameter. Risers aren't specific except either 2 bolt or single bolt fitting to top yoke. A few risers are bike specific only because they bolt to forks.

Check these out......http://www.oberon-performance.co.uk/acatalog/Oberon_Motorcycle_Handlebar_risers.html

If too high or too forward, the bars can also touch the fairing before yoke hits lock stops.

Thanks guys. Another question of I may. I have removed the top yoke with the clip ons leaving the inner yoke. Do I need another "flat" top yoke slab or do I use the inner yoke to fit the risers to? Thanks. Gordon

Have you got pictures of these yokes? Usually have a top yoke and a bottom yoke. Dunno what an inner yoke is.

Isn’t the inner yoke the yellow bit....

Thank you, thank you.......I’m here all week

Hi again all. I think I have attached a couple of photos. The silver one is the clip ons, the black one is left after I have taken the clip ons off. Is the black one the yoke or do I need a top yoke over it.

Yes, the black one is the yoke. It clamps the fork tops and the upper steering head bearing. The silver thing just carries the handlebars. Never seen that before.

You can still use both, as the holes in the black one are very big to take risers.. what diameter are the 4 small holes in the silver thing. It's still gonna be interesting fitting risers as the holes aren't parallel to each other.
