Topper Posted December 27, 2018 Posted December 27, 2018 Anyone out and about local to Cheshire or North Wales tomorrow or Saturday......or even New Years Eve Quote
Mississippi Bullfrog Posted December 27, 2018 Posted December 27, 2018 New Years Eve is a possibility. I can't do Friday or Saturday due to prior commitments. The only thing is I need to be back home by 5.00pm due to work commitments - but it's getting dark and cold by then so I guess that's no real problem. Quote
Topper Posted December 28, 2018 Author Posted December 28, 2018 I would probably go out early anyway pal, say 10ish.J&S for a brew and then a bimble down to the raven cafe, and then back up the A41 over to Chester and then back up the A55 to home. Don't want anything massive, just want to try the new heated grips out weather dependant, we could meet at J&S....... unless you have other ideas? Quote
Mississippi Bullfrog Posted December 28, 2018 Posted December 28, 2018 Sounds good to me. J&S at 10.00am is fine. I'll be on either the Bobber or the CBF500 (black with a top box) depending on weather. No heated grips for me. If it's cold I'll have marigolds under my gloves. Quote
Topper Posted December 30, 2018 Author Posted December 30, 2018 Well I am still up for tomorrow weather dependent.Midnight Blue ZZR 1400 with Scorpion Cans & a Blue & White Shoei Helmet Quote
Mississippi Bullfrog Posted December 30, 2018 Posted December 30, 2018 If the roads dry out I'll be on the Bobber, but I was out that way this afternoon doing errands and the roads were filthy in which case I'll stick with my winter hack. Either way the forecast is good so I'll be at J&S for 10.00am. Quote

Mississippi Bullfrog Posted December 31, 2018 Posted December 31, 2018 OK. I’ll be leaving about 9.00 as I have an errand to do on the way. I need to drop something off at our new place in Whitegate and then double back to J&S. Quote

mikestrivens Posted December 31, 2018 Posted December 31, 2018 Too early for me to be at J&S for 10:00. If it was 12:30 that would suit me better. Quote
Topper Posted December 31, 2018 Author Posted December 31, 2018 no one else here. I'll head off towards Whitchurch and go visit my brother. Sorry about that pal. The parcel is a new multigym........worth it? mmmmmmmm...........I need something to kick start me off, If its in the house I cant make excuses up why I cant go on it Hope your ride was ok. I thought Sharon may have still tuned up with her mate, but not sure if she would have approached you anyway as she doesnt know you. Quote
Mississippi Bullfrog Posted December 31, 2018 Posted December 31, 2018 Ah well, maybe some other time. I hung around until about 10.30 but there was no sign of anyone else. I had a chat with a few folk out for a ride though. The weather was really mild and the roads had dried out. There was a guy who'd just come back from N Wales and his bike was covered in salt. He said the roads were covered in the stuff so they were still damp and greasy. Quote
