Guest Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 got bad news guys, bikes dead, while heading home from work the bike currently lost the front brake, so i managed to stop on the rear, which has semi buckeld the rear axle, and the rear wheel hit the kurb, and that caused the bike to lean over hard to the left, and made the left fork just go, so im gonna have to say sorry guys Quote
Nell Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 I have a favour to ask. I was meant to be going on the back of Borile, on the rideout, but as he's had to pull out it's kind of left me in a predicament. Would any of you guys be willing to let me go pillion with one of you, otherwise i'm gonna have to pull out too, and i don't really want to have to do that. Quote
Guest Posted June 26, 2007 Posted June 26, 2007 Using the rear brake semi buckled rear axle whats it made out of...chocolate lol...Shame you cant make it, gonna be a good un Quote

Guest Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007 I think the ride around (111 miles) from matty to bakey may be too much for some riders. There will be a massive police presence so unless you know where they arse it could take a while to get round. I am willing as i aint got that far to ride to get to matty. I can bring a couple of blow up rubber (bum)rings for peoples tired derrieres if required. The roads are awesome though, best of the peaks. Quote
Guest Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007 Well people will have the route and maps and can always cut it short and go to the end point sooner if they dont wanna do the whole thing.Im sure everyone will be fine Quote
Chrissb6 Posted June 28, 2007 Posted June 28, 2007 The trip should be done at a nice and steady pace, as said there be plenty of police and camera's about, just leave the police and camera's for the muppets and daft lads "enjoy". Just hoping the weather going to sort itself out and let the roads dry up. 100 and odd miles will fly by on this route, there should be no need to worry about arse ache "to much to see and do". I only get aches and pains when the brain get bored. motorways and the like. we should find time to stop and have a stretch along the way anyway. Roll on the 8th Quote
