mas101 Posted July 23, 2019 Posted July 23, 2019 Nope.You can ride a 50cc (limited to 28mph).https://www.gov.uk/motorcycle-cbt/car-driving-licence Quote
yamahaamd Posted July 23, 2019 Author Posted July 23, 2019 O.k. Cheers. The bike licence procedure seems quite confusing to me now days. Quote
rennie Posted July 23, 2019 Posted July 23, 2019 It's confusing full stop! Your CBT only lasts 2 years Quote
APR Posted July 23, 2019 Posted July 23, 2019 O.k. Cheers. The bike licence procedure seems quite confusing to me now days. I’m doing this now. Basically, you need your CBT and Theory before you can move further. Once you’ve done them, and have your certificates you can book in your MOD 1 and MOD 2. The first is off road, slow control and manoeuvres in a car park and then the second is out on the road. There’s a few videos on YouTube if you get chance to have a browse. All being good, you’re all set for the big bikes Quote
dynax Posted July 23, 2019 Posted July 23, 2019 To legally ride the minimum is full car or provisional licence with motorcycle entitlement plus CBT, the theory is only required when progressing further to a full motorcycle licence Quote
Gerontious Posted July 28, 2019 Posted July 28, 2019 Maybe talk to Nottingham Roadcraft, over on Beechdale road about CBT amd taking things further.greetings from Mapperley. Quote
