EX GASMAN Posted March 24, 2020 Posted March 24, 2020 I have not had the bike out for a bit and the front brake is binding. The bike is a Royal Enfield Bullet, I have worked on disk brakes on cars but not on a bike, are they the same?Is there anything I need to Know. ThanksJohn Quote
Mississippi Bullfrog Posted March 24, 2020 Posted March 24, 2020 Pretty much the same principles. If you can do cars you can do bikes. I did mine the other day after all the winter salt. They feel noticeably sharper now. Quote
dynax Posted March 24, 2020 Posted March 24, 2020 Just check for any pitting on the exposed part of the piston, other than making sure seals are good should be okay to just strip and clean Quote
Stu Posted March 24, 2020 Posted March 24, 2020 Moved to the right section If its not being ridden for a while then a good ride usually sorts it out but you can't really do that unless you take it for essential shopping! Quote
EX GASMAN Posted March 24, 2020 Author Posted March 24, 2020 Probably won't get out on it much now until it's all over, they are telling us not to go out, so I can ride up and down my drive about 20 feet Quote
