125cc Posted May 13, 2020 Posted May 13, 2020 Anyone tried/own one of these? Have fancied a bright-green Kwak for a long while and have no desire to move up from 125s. A wee bit more power than the YS125 would be of use whilst on my trips round the main roads up here. Quote

fastbob Posted May 13, 2020 Posted May 13, 2020 Keep the money I've just saved you towards a proper bike . Quote
Snod Blatter Posted May 13, 2020 Posted May 13, 2020 I have the Z250SL which is the same frame. Flighty/twitchy with rock hard suspension and poor build quality, particularly the wiring. Also isn't the 125 the same weight? 145kg seems crazy heavy to me if you've got 15BHP. Quote
125cc Posted May 18, 2020 Author Posted May 18, 2020 Keep the money I've just saved you towards a proper bike . Ha ha ha I suppose repainting the YS would be cheaper Snod - thanks for the honest review. Surprised as I thought Kwaks were well-built. Quote
Snod Blatter Posted May 18, 2020 Posted May 18, 2020 These bikes are built in Thailand and appear to use mostly locally-sourced parts, I just hope for my own sake the engine internals are Japanese..! Quote
