marko65 Posted June 29, 2020 Posted June 29, 2020 Evening All I am looking at getting back on a bike after 35 years - I'm slightly confused as to what I can ride . I passed my driving test in 1984 and CBT back in 2000 (intending to take the full test but life took over!) My licence states I am eligible for AM and A but not A1 or A2.A family member thinks I can ride up to 125cc with L plates but I'm not so sure - Cheers for any clarification Quote
bonio Posted June 29, 2020 Posted June 29, 2020 Your CBT died in 2002. Since then, you're eligible to1) to ride a moped up to 50cc, no 'L' plates2) to take another CBT, and after that ride a 125 on 'L' platesAnother CBT is probably the right route for you Quote
rennie Posted June 29, 2020 Posted June 29, 2020 Hello and Welcome CBT and start from there I'm afraid Quote
marko65 Posted June 30, 2020 Author Posted June 30, 2020 That's what I suspected - another CBT isn't a problem - I'll feel safer having done it ! Thanks again Quote
