My bike has an odd problem where the headlight and rear light come on as soon as the battery is connected, even when there's no key in the ignition. Before this issue, they would normally only come on whilst the bike was running. My idea is that my bike for some reason thinks the bike is running and that because it can't get any power from the alternator it's using the battery instead. I have tried unplugging the CDI and the dash but the problem persists. Can someone please help me.

Sorry, it is a Derbi Senda 50 sm 2020. Thank you for your help, I have found the problem which was a burnt pin on the voltage regulator
