Labour weren't even standing on a Remain ticket in either election. Even today I have no idea what they were standing for in either! Quote
Bender Posted December 29, 2020 Author Posted December 29, 2020 Labour still dont know what they stand for, by process of elimination though you don't vote for the party actively carrying out something you don't want. @XTreme Labour If it wins the election, Labour wants to renegotiate Mr Johnson's Brexit deal and put it to another public vote. It says it will achieve this within six months. They wanted another deal and another referendum, yet still the vote went against them, even more than the previous 2 elections. Quote

I had hopes for Starmer but he just lacks the fire and charisma! Until they find someone who can capture people's imagination like Blair did they're going to be outside looking in. Cos from now on in Britain it's the biggest personality who's going to win! Quote

He's more of a details man......and he's undoubtedly very smart. Just not sure on the Leadership qualities though. And to whip them to vote WITH the Tories and the ERG on a deal that isn't even as good as May's (which Bozo resigned over) is madness. He needs to vote against (or even abstain)......not that it will alter the result.....but it will mean the Tories OWN it! Quote

Labour had a massive influx of new members out of nowhere......and Coalbin won the vote. Nobody even knew who he was......but he ended up the Tories biggest asset. Cameron even told him that in the house point blank! Quote

Laughable isn’t it. Spout a bunch of lies. Fail to deliver. Blame everyone but themselves: “It’s not my fault the magic beans didn’t work, you just didn’t believe enough when you planted them.” And still none of them have ponied up a single benefit we’ve gained to date. Farmers and the union are now full of regret, fishermen have now worked out they were mislead. But some are still so invested in their fiction they can’t give it up - it’s not politics, it’s a quasi religion. They’re the Taliban of common sense. 2 Quote
