Throttle Position sensor fault

Hi to all. 

Hoping to find someone who's had an issue with their TPS.  Trying to determine whether the fault is with the loom or ICU, or actually the sensor itself.  Bike won't idle at rpm specs unless i push the throttle back manually.  Also sluggish on the throttle, so uncertain if it might need new cables 

Any help would be appreciated.  I've got a Honda CBF600S 2004

What makes you think it's a TPS problem? Is there a code?

Have you had the throttle bodies balanced?

Disconnect cables and manually move throttle .... If bike behaves .... Replace cable ....
