In April 2019 I installed some BikeVis Bullet LEDs to the front of the Honda. I was getting fed up of cars pulling out of junctions ahead of me and wanted to try some extra lights, not to light up the road, just to make the front end of the bike more noticeable. They are small and quite bright, but nowhere near as dazzling as some LEDs. One reason for going for these is that the don't need a bracket, they just attach with a sticky pad.

Do they work? Hard to say for sure but I've certainly had less idiots pull out right in front of me.

I ride all year and live in a rural area so the bike gets hammered with mud and grit. I hose it down most days so the LEDs have lived in a pretty harsh environment. Last week one of them started to flicker and has gone dim so I contacted BikeVis to source some replacements. They're out of warranty so I was looking to buy new lights.

I sent them an email late last night - a 4.00am this morning they emailed back that replacements are being sent free of charge. Given the state of things at the moment it's good to know there are UK based companies still backing their products and looking after customers.

I have used Bik vis a few times and agree the customer service is fine.

however I have an issue with the products.

I had the self adhesive bullets. Within 12 months both had failed. 2 were provided FOC. Also then ordered a modulator unit for them. Few months later another bullet failed. New one provided. Then the modulator failed. I gave up at this point. They never asked for the bullets to be returned an so I took them apart. Each one had failed where the inline resistor was fitted to the LED due to corrosion.

I will perform a post mortem on the one that has failed. I remember when I fitted these you commented yours has failed. I might look at where moisture is getting in if that proves to be the case.

Yeah, prob would look at smaller mounts. Maybe even just  cable ties. Would be hardly visible.

My mrs wants them on her fazer lol so going to try and fit in a way that doesnt stand out too much..
