Cookz Posted June 28, 2021 Posted June 28, 2021 Hello all, Hope you are all doing well today, I was just wondering if anyone would have any suggestions on a decent large sized manual 125cc motorcycle? I am currently riding a 2019 X-Max 125cc and I am looking to get back onto a geared motorcycle before I do my DAS. If you could keep in mind that I am a big guy that would be helpful. Thanks and enjoy your day Quote
KiwiBob Posted June 29, 2021 Posted June 29, 2021 If you can find one then a Honda XL125V Varadero might be a good choice. https://www.motorcyclenews.com/bike-reviews/honda/xl125v-varadero/2001/ 3 Quote
bonio Posted June 29, 2021 Posted June 29, 2021 Yup, the Varadero is the bike you're looking for. Quote
Hornets nest Posted June 30, 2021 Posted June 30, 2021 Yes a great bike and pretty large for a 125 Had mine for ages even though I have full licence. Just about to move it on when the new bike arrives in a couple of weeks. Good ones do bring good money. If mine is anything to go by they are very reliable good on juice and everyone who does not too much about bikes think its 650. because its v twin it does look like bigger bike. I will be sorry to see it go but 7years is most likely long enough to own a125. now moving on to bigger things. 1 Quote
Fish Posted July 1, 2021 Posted July 1, 2021 The MT125 are a fairly good for larger people. I'm 6' and 15 stone and it works ok for me. 1 Quote
