Green card for travel to EU scrapped.

The European Commission announced it had waived  this requirement amongst other concessions designed to defuse tension around the implementation of the Northern Ireland protocol.

Since leaving the bloc drivers of UK-registered vehicles, including those from Northern Ireland, have been required to carry a green card when visiting another EU country, including the Republic of Ireland.

 

not a big deal. But one less thing to worry about carrying.
