lluis Posted April 4, 2022 Posted April 4, 2022 Hello. I have the 2021 Tracer 9GT. I notice that when I get on the bike, I don't perceive my weight, I don't lose almost anything. Some board to calibrate the preload both rear and front, an easy adjustment. On the Fz6 facer when I get on, it goes down about 25mm. This one does not, it seems super hard, it does not go down even with the couple behind, it does not flinch, I notice it in the feet. I play on tiptoe, with the couple behind also on tiptoe, nothing has gone down. ????? Sorry for my English I am from Spain. Quote
fullscreenaging Posted April 5, 2022 Posted April 5, 2022 I would search in your language for ”how to set up static sag” This explain how to adjust your preload. Quote
manxie49 Posted April 5, 2022 Posted April 5, 2022 I may be wrong, but on the 9GT I believe damping is automatic?? As for pre-load, on my 900GT anyway, it was just trial and error, I changed the rear shock for a Nitron, upgraded the front springs and valves and then just tinkered around until I found what suited my style of riding and weight. I personally find setting up suspension correctly is an acquired skill, if I can't get the ride or handling right I just take it to someone who knows what they're doing and get their advice. Theres also some good you tube videos that may help Quote
