Help in licenses UK-FRANCE

I would like to know if we are allowed to ride a 125cc motorcycle in the uk with a A1 French licence - I am 16 and will have my A1 licence but I want to know if I can ride in the uk

Theoretically it should be yes, but as with all things too many grey areas. Personally as long as you hold the A1 licence, just ride and if you get stopped be polite and smile plead ignorant and only speak in French

Check if you will need an international driving license.

 

For UK licenses travelling into EU there are different IL depending on the countries we will be riding.

I doubt if you can ride anything in the uk over 50cc as you are only 16 years old. You have to be 17minimum to ride anything bigger in the uk. You need to check french driver licensing authority as to what it entitles you abroad and also the British DVLA for the same.
