New Bike - Need Peace of Mind.. Alarm and Tracker...

Bike is a CBR1000RR - 2006.

As you know, not a ton of space to hide things, so I would like a tracking system which will be able to hide somewhere, if it was small enough it could maybe go deep in the fairings?

Ideally it will be able to charge from the bike running (so never needs messing with).

Be continually tracked via sms or whatever latest tech is now via phone.

Small and light with minimal wiring and set up.

Ideally no monthly costs, just a pay as you go when you want to see where it is.

Affordable (£100-150?)

And the alarm similar, small, light, minimal, doesn;t have to be as concealed but ideally hard to get to and dismantle. And affordable (£100?)

Any 2022 recommendations?

Not sure you will achieve what you want there!. Wired tracker would probably drain your battery more times than be charged from it. With minimal wiring I would look at the Monimoto 7 tracker - no wiring but £36 a year subscription.  I have had mine a couple of years now, not bad for the money.

£36 a year not bad is it! I will look into them, and yes good point on the wiring thing.

I have an alarm on my Honda CBF, I find it tends to drain the battery quite quickly. So unless you're riding it frequently, as in at least a couple of times a week all year round, or have access to a charger, I would avoid fitting an alarm. They are frankly useless anyway. I only leave mine connected because it provides the immobiliser for insurance purposes. I would have a Monimoto for the Bobber but there is literally nowhere to put it except under the tank.
