St helens or Chester test centre

Good afternoon all, just after some advice. Passed Mod 1 this week now onto mod 2. Where do you think I should do Mod 2 test from St Helens or Chester? I keep getting told by many people to do it from Chester as the roads are quieter and less chance of any mishaps. I've trained Al round St Helens and it is busy at all times really. Does anyone have any experiences. Thanks so much for taking the time to read this.

Until a couple of years ago I lived in the middle of Chester. The roads certainly aren't quiet! 

 

St Helens is also busy but if you've done your training there at least you know the roads.

I'd go with the roads you know. Its easier to deal with familiar junctions even if busy.

goat is right. Roads you know are 20 times easier than unfamiliar ones.

I did mine at at Chester. It wasn't busy,  they use roads around Saltney, Ellesmere Port and near the Blue Planet.

Chester routes also include Garden city, Saughall and the A540 Chester High road. None of which is over busy. I don't know about St Helens as I do not know the area.
