Riding with achilles problems

hi their can anyone help . advise me on the best boots for achilles issues . I am currently wearing sidi and its ripping the hell out of them. I know i am advised to wear full tight support but this just increases the pain . Does anyone else have these issues?

If it was me, I would personally seek advice from a Podiatrist.  They may be able to advise on different types of supports or even inserts that can be worn under boots.

I've currently got a torn achilles which is being treated with a bloody horrible plastic boot etc. However I had to ride my bike from Northumberland to Gloucestershire yesterday so strapped ankle and wore my Daytona Road Star boots for best  part of 300 miles without pain.
