Oxford heated grips

Does anyone know why some Oxford grips are "UK SPECIFIC"? 

 

The ones I'm looking at are 

OL691 and EL691UK the OL691s fit my bike according to a YouTube video but what's the difference?

Might be different graphics (english wording) on the control. Package may have different instructions (again English wording.

I got the cheap chinese heated grips, cost me £15, I wasn't convinced heated grips were useful so bought cheap onesot try them put. Now convinced having used them through last winter. If they had failed quickly I would have replaced them with Oxford, but they are still workng well.

the're specifically for right hand drive bikes

Bought and fitted them, well made and work great.

I've had a few sets over the years. Really like them , better than some factory ones for heat.

The older models used to go through control units every few years. But never had a problem with the newer version.
