daytona 885 oil light

Hi. Help? Just got myself a 1993 Triumph Daytona 900. With the engine running the oil pressure light stays on. Anyone know of any history of oil pressure switch failure on these models? Or any other fault that may cause this?

if you look in old bikers/ old bikes thread one of the lonely olds has 2 daytonas!he was trying to sell them, pm him and ask

but oil light normally means low oil

as already said say hello in newbies section
