TimR Posted April 5, 2023 Posted April 5, 2023 Be very careful of strapping a bike in a luton unless it has floor mounted anchor points . The side fixing rails are normally glued/bonded to the walls and can peel off even though apparently rated to a substantial restraint force .. Also the height of a luton is a pain unless it has a tail lift and then its a ball ache as bike had to go side on the lift and has to be turned with literally an inch either side of the wheels to move And don't ever try transporting a gtr1400 in a luton ... its a struggle .... 4 Quote
keith1200rs Posted April 5, 2023 Posted April 5, 2023 I had to ride my K1200RS up a plank into a fully loaded removal van. Even trickier was rolling it backwards down the ramp afterwards! Tying it down was the least of my problems. 2 Quote
