Triumph 400 Waiting List

I ordered my Speed 400 on 15th January. Delivery was expected in March, which slipped to April and now May, but with no definite date in sight.

 

Anyone else in a similar predicament? Would be nice to know I’m not alone.

Unbelievable coincidence! I’ve just now had a phone call from the Triumph dealer telling me that my bike is expected next Tuesday and will be ready for collection later next week. Hurrah! Now I need to arrange insurance…

the bike caught my eye last year but im not sure that i would find 40bhp exciting enough.

the light weight is certainly appealing.

I spoke too soon. I was told that my red Speed 400 would arrive at the dealership on Tuesday.

 

It now transpires that the bike is expected tomorrow in a batch of about 30. So it’s highly unlikely that I’ll get it until next week, if it actually arrives tomorrow at all.

 

I’m told that there are two black Speed 400s in the showroom available for sale, however, some people who ordered the much more popular red Speed 400 last August are still waiting, so my 4 month wait is relatively short. Not to me it isn’t…

Annoying isn't it. Hopefully you'll manage to forget all about it once it arrives. Not a good look for Triumph though.
